Hello, I’m Laila
I run Little Laundry Goose, a small, home-based laundry service in Alexandra Hills. When family life gets busy, I’m here to help with the everyday washing, from school uniforms to sheets and towels. I personally collect, wash, dry, fold and return your laundry, with ironing available on request. You’ll deal directly with me from collection to return. Just have your washing ready in a basket, hamper or bag that suits you.
A hand with the laundry when life gets busy
Cold washing is standard for everyday laundry, using OMO Professional Laundry Powder Fragrance Free, unless a care label or agreed request requires otherwise.
Towels and bedding
Sheets and towels use the standard $6/kg rate. Blankets and doonas are priced by size. Larger laundromat machines may be used where care and capacity require them.
Pickup and return
Based in Alexandra Hills, serving locations within a 15 km radius. Pickup and return delivery is $10, or free for orders of 20 kg or more OR qualifying weekly repeat customers.
Prices
- Everyday laundry, sheets and towels: $6/kg, with a $30 minimum for standard wash, dry and fold.
- Pickup and return delivery: $10, or free for orders of 20 kg or more OR qualifying weekly repeat customers.
- Sensitive wash: +$5 per wash.
- Requested separate washing: +$5 for each additional machine load, confirmed before washing.
- Blankets and doonas: Single $35, Double $40, Queen $45, King $50. Heavy, weighted or unusual items: quote first.

Examples cover standard laundry only. Ironing, bulky items, sensitive wash and additional requested separate loads cost extra. Qualifying weekly repeat customers receive free pickup and return, including for smaller orders; the $30 standard laundry minimum still applies.
Ironing, by hand
- Basic items: $3 each. children’s clothes size 10 and under, T-shirts, polos, shorts, standard trousers, pillowcases and simple school uniform pieces.
- Detailed items: $7 each. standard business shirts, blouses, skirts, simple dresses and more detailed school uniforms.
- 5 standard business shirts: $30. additional standard shirts in the same order are $6 each. Fewer than five are $7 each.
- Single linen / small tablecloth: $7. tablecloths up to about 1.5 m × 1.5 m.
- Double, Queen or King linen / larger tablecloth: $12. tablecloths up to about 2.2 m × 2.2 m.
Very large, delicate or unusually difficult linen needs a quote first. Items requiring specialist pressing are generally not accepted.
I weigh your laundry after collection and confirm the final price before washing. Payment options are Osko, bank transfer, PayID or cash. Payment is due on or before delivery. Cash can be paid at handover. For electronic payments, please allow time for the funds to arrive. Safe-drop deliveries require payment to be received before laundry is left.
How it will work
- Tell me what you need.
Review and send your pickup request with your preferred day, laundry needs and any special-care requests. I’ll reply by email to confirm availability, the pickup window and an estimated cost where possible. Your pickup is booked once I confirm it.
- I collect, weigh and confirm.
After collection, I weigh your laundry and email you the final itemised total and payment details. Any additional separate-load charges are agreed before washing. Your order stays labelled and identifiable throughout.
- Your laundry comes back folded.
I aim to return normal orders in approximately 24 hours. Larger orders, ironing, extra wash loads or special care can take longer; I’ll confirm the expected return.
Each customer’s order will be labelled and kept separate throughout handling.

Home-based in Alexandra Hills, serving all collection locations within a 15 km radius. Not sure whether your address is within the area? Ask me before booking and I’ll check your location.
Pickups are between 7 am and 9 am. I’ll agree a collection window with you and confirm your delivery separately.
I’m starting with a total laundry limit of 25 kg per day. I can accept multiple orders within that limit; your collection is confirmed once I’ve checked the remaining capacity and any extra care or ironing required.
Review your request, then choose Send pickup request to email it directly to me. A pickup is booked only after I confirm it.

I’m opening Monday 12 October 2026. You can request a collection now. Pickups are between 7 am and 9 am, and I’m starting with a 25 kg total daily limit. I’ll confirm the date and availability personally; submitting a request does not reserve a pickup.
What will it cost?
Standard wash, dry and fold is $6/kg, with a $30 minimum standard laundry order. Each additional customer-requested separate wash load is +$5, confirmed before washing. Pickup and delivery is $10, or free for orders of 20 kg or more OR qualifying weekly repeat customers. Blankets and doonas are charged separately. See all prices and example totals above.
What emails will I receive?
I personally reply to your request with pickup confirmation and an estimated cost where possible. After collection and weighing, I email the final itemised total and payment details before washing. Estimates can change with the actual weight or agreed extras. An automatic customer copy or acknowledgement is not currently set up.
How do I change or cancel a pickup?
Need to change or cancel a pickup? Please contact me as soon as possible. Include your name, order number if you have one, and the pickup day. I’ll confirm the cancellation or let you know whether your requested change is available. Call or text 0494 550 187, or email littlelaundrygoose@gmail.com.
Can I pay online?
